Brisbane, 1994. Dust, denim, and a whole lot of noise.

Before Jae managed world tours and trainee schedules, before the neon lights of Seoul, there was a garage in suburban Brisbane. That garage was the musical home of the JayBees - best friends, surfer kids, loud & wild.

The JayBees never released their album. Life happened - marketing apprenticeships, uni, full-time jobs. The dream didn't go away, it just ... diffused.

Music has a funny way of coming back around.

Seeing the Four Lights find their own rhythm has rattled something loose in my ribs. Maybe it’s time to dust off these old tapes. Maybe the 90s are cool again, or maybe we just have some unfinished business with the stars.
